Day 7 Over the last week…
Greetings to those people who actually check out the lives of Eric and I. Although we are amazing people:), you probably have more important things to do….like stop procrastinating at your job and get back to work. Just kidding. Anyways, we are now in central Oregon with more of Eric’s friends. Have not met them yet but their place is really cool. They basically live across the street from Smith Rocks. It is really beautiful here. Speaking of here….lets go travel back a bit so you can relive with me more of our epic adventure. So, we left Denver late Saturday afternoon and were trying to make it out to Joe’s Valley in Utah. Well, all was good until about 10:30 that night. We had a blow out in the middle of nowhere. Neither me or Eric had phone service. I, always being prepared, forgot to check if I had all the essentials for changing a tire before we left. Yep, you guessed it, didn’t have the tire iron. We had to flag down two Mexican guys (Earnest, you might know them:)) who gladly let us borrow one. We rolled into Joe’s on a doughnut and crashed out. Climbed all day Sunday. Made delicious turkey burgers for dinner and crashed out again. We left late yesterday, and picked up two new tires. We drove till about midnight last night and camped under the stars of central Oregon. We’re gonna hang here for the day and launch out towards Squamish tomorrow. Between the transmission and tire trouble it’s been a roller coaster, but we are both still in high spirits and ready for Squamish and more climbing. To everyone coming to visit us: Can’t wait to see you.To Stuart: Have you left yet? We saw a vanagon and thought it was you. Much disappointment. To everyone else: We miss ya’ll and hope ya’ll will decide to be apart of the group coming to visit us:)Check out a few pics from the drive out in the photo gallery. Taker Easy,-Matt

Site is looking great for just kicking it off. That sux about the transmission, but glad you guys are almost there. Throw down in Squamish Matt, I need to live vicariously through you until at least December. I’ve got 3 more days until I head out to Flagstaff to kick it with the fam, and kill it on some AZ bouldering with Frank and Gina from Voodoo. Post more pics, and keep in touch. Take it easy.
