Hey brother, thanks for the motivation Saturday! It paid off too…I took 2nd place in Open at the Triple Crown!!! And, as promised, got the repeat of God Given just for you. Brandi and Tyler were there to see it, again; I’m kinda thinking they’ve gotta be there for me to do it ’cause I had fallen off the top twice before they got there, and then sent it immediately once they were watching. It was attempted by others but not sent–so far I’m still the only one!
Saturday was my best day of climbing, EVER. I can’t even explain the vibe and inspiration I had, wish you were there to see it, but to an extent you were. See you soon bud.

matt! sounds like life has been incredible since i last saw you. i am very jealous of your travels but hope that you have been enjoying every second of it. i can only imagine what india is like after reading shantaram- crazy and beautiful. i sent it out to your friend a while back.

i finished the appalachian trail on halloween after 5 long but amazing months. unfortunately im as weak as a kitten now. time to get back into climbing shape. keep on living the dream, my friend.
